What's on

The WhistleBlast Quartet is a passionate team of professional performers located in Ireland. As well as performance, we have created and developed our own unique WhistleBlast style of workshops and engagement with young people and all persons with disabilities, as part of our programming. We offer a wide range of musical experiences: exciting performances and recitals for any occasion and workshop programmes for all ages. Our focus is the voice of the child and co-creative music performance, evident in all our work to date.

Fantastic collaborations with long-standing partners enable safe environments for all participants to express themselves freely and explore musical creations.

Our own Kenneth Edge has arranged orchestral, ensemble and solo works, covering a huge repertoire, making us highly diverse and suitable for performances for any event and for all ages.

The Arts Council

More People. More Places. More Spaces.

Funding, developing and promoting the arts in Ireland, the Arts Council stimulates participation in the arts nationwide. Through empowering artists and providing more spaces to create, the Arts Council supports cultural growth, ensuring positive engagement with the arts in urban and rural communities across Ireland.

Reflecting the Arts Council’s policy on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, WhistleBlast Quartet strives to embody these objectives, designing dynamic musical programmes to nurture and empower intergenerational participants, and create a greater diversity of audiences.

We work to broaden the horizons of young people, local communities, and intergenerational disabled participants through the provision of exceptional multimedia live performances, highly-engaging peer-led programmes, and collaboration with first-class professional musicians.

WhistleBlast Quartet is proudly supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.

It was super and so nice to get a sophisticated programme which was also accessible. Well done everyone. I love your presentation style. The little ones really enjoyed it too.

Thanks a million for this unexpected blessing of an open air concert on a lovely autumn afternoon.

Great atmosphere in park. My 9 year old daughter loved Baby Elephant Walk. Very enjoyable, great interaction!
