The WhistleBlast Quartet are a mini-symphonic ensemble made up of a talented team of performers and teachers located in Ireland. The WhistleBlast Quartet’s National Concert Hall Family Concert Series has been a massive success in  2014, 2015 and 2016 with most of our concerts selling out well in advance! Our next concert will be the 20th of May so keep an eye out!

New Arts Council Funding for Composition Programme!

In partnership with the NCH and Ballina Arts Centre we are delighted to build upon our 2016 Programme in Ballina, Co Mayo by extending geographically and widening the reach and scope of our work towards a more nationwide opportunity

Students from four Secondary Schools in Dublin and Mayo, Mayo Youth Orchestra and Special Needs groups will create a new art work through the Quartet’s inclusive, educational expertise in immersive workshop settings drawing on themes that are of particular relevance to their localities and lives.

The performances of the New Work involving 122 students will take place in Dublin and Ballina Arts Centre, Co Mayo in January 2018.

It's kindly funded by the Arts Council,Mayo Co Council, Blackshell Farm and participants' contributions.

In ten years we have reached 60,000 young people and their families. The WhistleBlast Quartet held their first ever family festival in Belmullet this Hallowe'en on 29th and 30th October 2015. Our New Venture! BUILD AN ORCHESTRA IN THE WORKPLACE!

With all their experience WhistleBlast are adding a NEW venture  called Music in the Workplace! The Irish Times  published this article in February, "Who wants to play music at work?" about this new and exciting project.  WhistleBlast can provide any organisation with the instruments and personalised tools to create an ORCHESTRA and CHOIR to facilitate any group of adults with or without musical experience.
